My passion is helping every one of my patients using evidence-based practice, guiding you with care and expertise through your unique pelvic health journey

你好，我是 May Wan。盆底健康问题虽然并不总是危及生命，但却可能给生活带来翻天覆地的变化。许多人往往会忽视这些问题，直到它们开始影响日常生活。我的热忱在于利用循证医学实践帮助每一位患者，以专业的知识和悉心的关怀，引导您度过独特的盆底健康康复之旅。

My Story

My physiotherapy journey began in Sydney, and after graduating, I moved to Victoria to begin my practice. My focus shifted toward pelvic health after meeting a patient who had sustained a fractured pelvis from a horse-riding accident.

She was living with ongoing pelvic pain, alongside bladder and bowel dysfunction. She told me she hadn't shared these struggles with anyone else—simply because she didn't know who to talk to or that help was even available.

Realizing there was a significant gap in pelvic health awareness, I dedicated myself to filling it. In 2021, I pursued post-graduate certificate training with the University of Melbourne (Pelvic health physiotherapy), and in 2025, I returned to uni to pursue my Master of Pelvic Health to ensure my patients receive the most advanced, evidence-based care possible.

I’m here to be the person you can talk to, guiding you back to health with expertise and understanding.

我的物理治疗生涯始于悉尼。毕业后，我搬到了维多利亚州开始执业。在遇到一位因骑马意外导致骨盆骨折的患者后，我的工作重心转向了盆底健康领域。

当时，她正默默忍受着持续的盆底疼痛，以及膀胱和肠道功能障碍。她告诉我说，她从未向任何人提起过这些困扰——仅仅是因为她不知道该向谁求助，甚至不知道这种病症是可以治疗的。

意识到公众对盆底健康缺乏了解，我决心填补这一空白。2021年，我修读了墨尔本大学的盆底健康物理治疗证书课程；2025年，我重返校园攻读盆底健康硕士学位，以确保我的患者能够接受到最先进、最科学的循证护理。

I am not only a therapist but also a mum, a wife and a daughter. My mother-tongue is Cantonese but I can also converse in Mandarin fluently. I look forward to helping your pelvic health journey.
